Christmas seems to sneak up on me every year. Once again I was that person finishing my list on the afternoon of Christmas Eve. How does this happen every year?! And then the special holiday is gone in a flash. This year was no different, and I can’t believe it’s already over!

I kicked off the holiday season with our company’s holiday party. So. Much. Fun! I love a good excuse to get dressed up in sparkles and spend the night with people who are so much fun!

I also tend to get a little overly excited when shopping for Christmas presents each year, so I usually sneak in a few for myself (oops)! This year was a Betsey Johnson weekender bag and two new pairs of jeans from Nordstrom Rack (my new obsession). Happiness ensues!

I had a fantastic holiday celebrating Christmas Eve with my parents at my home church with dinner after, celebrated with my immediate family on Christmas day and headed home to Northwest Iowa this weekend to soak up the holidays on the farm.

It was so great to end my weekend by relaxing on the farm and spending a lot of time with my parents. I am so grateful for weekends like this!
