As I sit down and relax for the first time today, I cannot stop smiling. Today was my 29th birthday, and it was an absolute celebration! It truly has been birthday week! It started Monday night with a party with my co-workers, continued into Tuesday night as my bible study girls celebrated me and capped off my big day today with lunch with my bestie, her husband and their baby boy (who I finally met for the first time!) from Colorado over lunch and a celebration tonight with many of my girlfriends over dinner and drinks.

This morning I woke up at 6 because I was SO excited for my birthday and could not go back to sleep! If you know me well, you know I am not a morning person. Obviously I couldn’t wait for the big day!

As I reflect back on the past year I just feel so, so blessed. I’ve realized that when you grow up life doesn’t always look exactly the way we thought it would. But, to be honest mine is exactly where I want it to be. I am so filled with joy and happiness and my heart feels so incredibly full tonight.

Thank you to my amazing friends who celebrated with me, my awesome family who showered me with love and to all my incredible friends who called, sent a text or sent birthday wishes on Facebook. It seriously means the world to me, and it’s pretty awesome to feel as loved as I do.

I truly count myself blessed.
