{Washington, D.C. Work Trip}

Last week I was very fortunate to spend an amazing few days in Washington, D.C. for a Governmental Affairs Conference for work. The beauty of the trip was that I was lucky enough to fly out a day before the conference and soak up our nation’s capitol with my cousin who lives fairly close to D.C. Such a blessing!

On Saturday it was 60 degrees in D.C. and the perfect day to take in all of the monuments and history in this city. I hadn’t been to D.C. since I was a junior in high school, and it was so amazing to tour the city again and see all of the sights.

Enjoy some photos of my trip!

The trip was fantastic, but I was completely exhausted when I arrived back in Des Moines. I am grateful to be back home and look forward to a more low key weekend with no travel!

Hoping everyone has a great week!
