I love weddings. I love everything about them. In my dream life I am actually a full-time wedding planner. Maybe someday.
And tonight was no exception of how much I love weddings. It was a night where it all came together after only four months of planning (super impressive, by the way).
Melanie, my dear friend and old co-worker from my Trilix days, married her sweetheart Phil Schriver. There was so much love in the room between them, and it was so fun to share in their special day! Melanie looked stunning, and I was obsessed with her bright orange necklace. So modern yet classy! I also loved her addition of a brown skinny belt to her dress for the reception. Such a fun idea!
Melanie wanted a fall wedding and didn’t want to wait until 2013 to get married, so she planned the wedding in only four months and did a spectacular job! The food stations from Taste 2 Go were delicious, and the decorations looked fantastic and were a perfect fit for Melanie and Phil’s style. The ceremony and reception were both held at Zart1312 downtown Des Moines, which was such a beautiful venue!
And a bonus of the night was hanging out with my bestie Ashley Danielson and close friends Kelly Bittner and Andrew Maahs!
Congratulations Melanie and Phil! Best wishes for a blessed marriage full of happiness and memories.
xoxo,
Angela
